Location: Kaslo, BC, Canada

Scope of Services

I offer:

  • Custom web design
  • Website development (e.g. WordPress)
  • Visual branding
  • Consulting and content support
  • Ongoing maintenance (upon agreement)

The exact scope and deliverables are defined in a written quote, email confirmation, or contract.

How I Use Your Information

Each project includes:

  • Initial consultation
  • Written offer/quote
  • Concept/design phase
  • Feedback/revision rounds
  • Final delivery or launch

Revisions beyond the agreed scope may be billed additionally at my hourly rate.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are stated in CAD unless otherwise agreed.

A deposit (typically 30–50%) is required before work begins.

The remaining amount is due upon final delivery or after project completion.

Payments are accepted via bank transfer or other agreed methods.

Late payments may result in delays or suspension of work. Legal action may be taken in case of non-payment.

Additional Costs

Unless otherwise stated in the agreed proposal or quote, the following costs are not included in the service fee and will be charged separately:

  • Hosting fees
  • Domain registration fees
  • Premium or licensed plugins, themes, or fonts
  • Stock photography, illustrations, or videos
  • Ongoing maintenance, updates, or support after project delivery

These costs will be communicated in advance and require client approval before being incurred.

Intellectual Property

All design drafts remain my intellectual property until full payment is received.

After payment, you receive the rights to use the final design for the agreed purpose (e.g. your business website).

I reserve the right to display the project as part of my portfolio, unless you request otherwise in writing.

Use of stock images, fonts, or plugins is subject to third-party licensing and must be respected accordingly.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth project, you agree to:

  • Provide timely feedback, input, and required materials
  • Respect agreed timelines
  • Use the delivered content in accordance with applicable laws

You are responsible for the legal compliance of your content (texts, images, business info, etc.).

Revisions & Maintenance

All packages include a limited number of revision rounds (typically 1–3).

Additional work or post-launch adjustments are billed at my current hourly rate.

Ongoing maintenance is available by request as a separate service.

Cancellations & Delays

If you cancel the project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.

If the project is delayed by more than 30 days due to missing input or communication, I may charge a reactivation fee or terminate the project.

Limitation of Liability

I take every project seriously and strive for high-quality results.
However, I am not liable for:

  • Business losses, lost revenue, or indirect damages
  • Errors caused by third-party systems or providers (hosting, CMS, etc.)
  • Legal issues due to client-provided content or data

Website security, backups, and legal compliance are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
